Berkeley Raw Brass STC Eb/D Trumpet with Extra Silver D Bell

It’s hard to believe this horn is made in China—but the quality will surprise you. If this trumpet doesn’t outplay a Stomvi 5510 or Kanstul 1523, you can return it for a full money-back guarantee.

Crafted from raw brass for a resonant, uncolored tone, and paired with a Silver D bell, this instrument offers remarkable versatility and projection for both Eb and D keys.

A Rare Advantage: Berliner Pistons

This horn is built with Berliner Pistons—a feature almost unheard of in modern trumpets. Unlike Perinet valves (where tubing jogs around the valves), Berliner Pistons keep the tubing in a perfectly straight line.

Why does this matter? When no valves—or all the valves—are depressed, the air flows straight through with no deflection. That means a freer-blowing, more responsive horn with a truly open feel.

Most flugelhorns today use Perinet valves. The fact that this trumpet features the superior Berliner Pistons makes it stand out in its class.
