Berkeley Piccolo Saxophone (Supersopranino Saxophone)(Open hole)
This tiny saxophone is similar to a soprano saxophone, yet while the soprano sax is in the key of
Bb, this one is in the key of F, above the Bb. We are calling it a "piccolo sax". It has only an
octave key and finger holes, with sharps and flats playable via cross-fingerings and
lip-bends. It is only for the truly adventurous player, as each note can be bent over a
span of at least three half-steps. A professional-level sax player can to advantage use
this piccolo sax for practice, helping ensure intonation when playing a regular
saxophone. This is a rare instrument, and the supply is limited, so order today!
